Toronto, ON – The 4th annual Toronto Smartphone Film Festival, presented by Samsung Canada, is coming up in just 3 days.
With groundbreaking smart-device-made films from all over the world, the festival proudly opens its door on Thursday May 21st at Scotiabank Theatre (259 Richmond Street West) and Friday May 22nd at Innis Town Hall (2 Sussex Avenue). A total of 32 films have been selected, among more than 250 films submitted by filmmakers from 50 different countries.
2015 marks the first year TSFF launches a two-day festival in two different venues. The Festival will open with a red carpet “Best Photogenic Contest” in which all audience members and filmmakers are welcome to participate in.

Raffle draw and door prizes will also be given out during the festival to selected participants.
After the red carpet event, 17 films will be presented on the first night, and 15 for the second. The screenings start at 6:30pm on both days, and will be free admission. After the screenings, all audience members are welcome to participate in the after party.
TSFF feels very lucky to be able to represent young filmmakers who are challenging the rules and norms of filmmaking by using smart devices in their craft, and very happy to share their stories with the audiences in Toronto.
